Dulce María Rivas Godoy is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is grounded in conceptual research on space, landscape, cities, and habitat. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art from the University of the Arts of Aguascalientes, alongside studies in Electronic Engineering and Communications at the Technological Institute of Aguascalientes. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, is part of important collections, and has received awards and recognitions.

Her artistic practice is driven by inquiry rather than medium, using painting, sculpture, photography, video, and site-specific systems as tools to articulate ideas about territory, perception, and the relationship between human activity, technology, and environment. Many of her projects involve the analysis and intervention of public space, where conceptual frameworks guide material and spatial decisions.

In addition to her artistic practice, she has worked as an educator, directed technology-related projects, and held cultural leadership positions.

She lives and works in Aguascalientes and wherever her research and artistic processes unfold.
